About me.
Hi! I’m Rachel, a product designer based in Seattle, focused on creating research-driven digital experiences that are intuitive, inclusive and impactful.
With a degree in chemistry and a lifelong passion for the arts, I work at the intersection of science, logic, and creativity—fields naturally integrated by UX design.
My background in chemical research and data interpretation brings analytical depth and clarity to my design thinking, while my deep connection to my Taiwanese heritage, shaped by several years living there, informs my work with cultural awareness, empathy, and a global perspective.
Currently, I work at a fast-paced Seattle agency on projects for Microsoft, where I focus on product design, demo production, and motion graphics. My work has been featured in keynote presentations by Microsoft leadership, as well as showcased at major industry events like Microsoft Ignite (14,000+ in-person and 200,000+ virtual attendees), Microsoft Build, and HR Tech. I love collaborating across cross-functional teams and with clients of all stripes to bring thoughtful, people-centered ideas to life.
When I’m not at my desk, you can find me teaching Barre3—a group fitness class focused on building strength, mindfulness, and community through movement. It’s another way I stay connected to human-centered work, which continues to inform and inspire my design practice.
