Hi, I’m Rachel–product & interaction designer in Seattle, WA.
I use intentional design solutions to transform complex problems into intuitive and inclusive digital experiences.
UX Design & Research
Developed a handwriting input feature for Duolingo to support character-based learning; created intuitive, platform-consistent user flows; and resulted in 100% task completion in usability tests—validating feature desirability and comprehension.
Product Demos & Motion
Create UX-driven demos for Microsoft clients, turning complex flows into clear, engaging narratives that communicate product and business value. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver polished experiences for events like Microsoft Build, Ignite, and HR Tech.
UX Design & Research
Designed an end-to-end mobile fitness app for a client, focused on intuitive workout creation, progress tracking, and social sharing. Delivered a clean, user-centered interface that promotes consistency and community engagement.

Still life (coming soon…)
In addition to designing digital experiences, I enjoy creating visual work by hand—primarily through drawing. This practice allows me to explore composition, form, and narrative in a more tactile way, and often informs the visual sensibility I bring to digital projects.
